Normally, I would just apply cocoa butter to the scars and they would eventually go away but I have had these scars for two months and I have seen little to no improvement. Does anyone know of a good acne treatment for African Americans? Preferably something that shows quick signs of improvement.

My acne flares up a few days before my period, then almost completely disappears a few weeks later. It seems to be a hormonal thing, and I was wondering if the hormones in contraceptive pills would help. There seem to be lots of different types of the pill, so which would be best for my case?

I have tried Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment it didn’t work also Mary Kay Acne treatment Gel…and now I have Burt’s Bees Herbal Blemish stick and it doesn’t do much. But the main thing I would like to know is… what spot treatment works for you and how much it’s it and were can i find it? A link would help too. Also what about a Clearasil spot treatment. Does that work?

just wondering i do cardio exercise everyday now and i swear alot, does it help with acne? and also i heard sweating cleans out pores it is true? however when i finish exercise how long do i have to wait till i can wash the sweat off my face?? or otherwise if sweat stays long i heard it causes acne?

I been using clearasil ultra for my acne but it’s a little to harsh for my skin and hasn’t been working that well. I’ve been using it for about 2 months and the acne goes away but leaves horrale red dots and by time they go away new acne comes. Does anyone know a simple home remedy to make that will help my acne, and maybe even help my dry skin? Also if you know any good products for acne that works well let me know. Thanks.

I have a minor acne problem on my chin and the corner of mouth. I recently went to the dermatologist to find out how to get rid of it. She prescribed oral medication that treats acne. My question is how does the oral medicine know where the acne is and how does it clear it up? I guess I’m just really skeptical about this whole thing. Thanks!
